Joyce Abou Zeidan

Joyce Abou Zeidan is the founder and owner of JAZ Insurance Broker, a licensed insurance broker in Lebanon based in Jal El Dib. She serves more than 2,000 clients across Lebanon, the Middle East and internationally, and works across all insurance lines: health, motor, life, property, marine, engineering, casualty and travel. She is known in Lebanon’s insurance community as Doctor of the Policy.

She works as an independent broker. She compares offers from several insurers instead of presenting one company as the only choice, starts every recommendation from the client’s real needs, and explains it in writing. She is open about what clients say, and shows their feedback on social media as it was given.

During the medicine crisis in Lebanon, she helped people find their medicine through the "Kaffak bi Kaffi" page on Twitter. She is a consistent voice for the rights of cancer patients. She leads the #كرمال_مرضى_السرطان campaign and calls for accountability over counterfeit medicines and the medicine crisis.

She is the author of the philosophical book التناقض العبثي (Absurd Paradox) and of a second book, وصايا من تحت الرماد.

Insurance for people and businesses

JAZ works across health, motor, life, property, marine, engineering, casualty, travel and business insurance. Individuals and families can discuss medical plans, vehicles, homes, travel and financial responsibilities. Businesses can review employee medical insurance, vehicles, premises, goods, equipment and liability needs. A client can start with one policy or ask for several existing arrangements to be reviewed together. The aim is to keep each proposal understandable and its purpose clearly identified.

If something changes during the year, contact JAZ about the update you need. At renewal, review the current information and ask for fresh offers before deciding. An existing policy can also be shared for comparison with available alternatives.

Claims assistance after the policy is issued

Every client who takes out a policy through JAZ INSURANCE receives a dedicated hotline number for claims assistance, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
